Steven C. Fonseca is a first-generation Portuguese-American. He learned Portuguese at a young age from his parents and grandparents. In 2007, he graduated from the University of Vermont, where he studied SE Asian History and Spanish. He received his B2 DELE Spanish Diploma in 2015 and completed the Spanish-English Translation Certificate program at UMASS Boston in 2024.
